This API Reference section provides information about the convert2swfclient.jar public API, and contains the following information:

It is required that when accessing the legacy services - Proxy Server, convert2swfclient.jar, that the product be run in Legacy mode.

Legacy Mode should only be used if you have an existing application that uses the Prizm Proxy Server service directly.
